“When I was twenty, something happened that changed my life ”. Jogile Drambrauskaite remembers the time when she started working with her own emotions and feelings, learning to heal herself from physical and mental pain. That was the beginning of a new job, “I knew I could help other people to overcome their fears, traumas, to understand their strengths and weaknesses and increase their self-esteem”. Every one of us can grow to become a better person, finding out what we are capable of, adapting to a new place, unknown city, a different country. As an expat, this certified wellness coach, specializing in holistic health, knows how to help disoriented people who live abroad, facing overwhelming problems to adapt to the new culture and circumstances. Based in Sant Cugat, Jogile works face to face and gives online coaching sessions to clients who need to manage their emotions giving body and mind based solutions. OneMindZone is the name of her project designed to help step by step, creating awareness, cultivating physical and mental self-regulation, and embracing calmness through different techniques of mindfulness. To start to change habits, Jogile gives us 5 tips that will help us start our day mindfully.

How to be mindful:

. Do not rush out of the bed as soon as you wake up but take few minutes to stretch out your body while laying.

. Inhale and exhale a few times deeply.

. Imagine or project your day, thinking that is going to be a wonderful and productive day. The power of the mind is very strong.

. If you have more than few minutes, try gratitude meditation thinking about what are you grateful for today: your house, family, warm water.

. Drink a big glass of water and start your day hydrated.
